Charles E. Robertson, Jr. is an entrepreneur, owner of Colorado Concessions Unlimited, LLC, (a restaurant and catering service company), and CER Associates, (a consulting, events, and research firm).

Mr. Robertson has more than 35 years of hospitality industry, municipal government, and community outreach experience.  He is former Deputy Manager of Parks and Recreation for the City and County of Denver.  In that capacity, Robertson served as Denver Mayor Wellington E. Webb’s appointee for supervising operations and maintenance of 250 parks, 14,000 acres of mountain parks, 130 miles of trails, 100 miles of parkway, seven municipal golf course operations, and associated concessions into the Parks Division.  Mr. Robertson managed over 1,000 employees with $29 million in annual budgets.

He is also a former manager of Copper Mountain Resort where his responsibilities included securing year-round destination business and developing a quality control program for the resort.  As night manager, he was responsible for the overall management and coordination of all operational functions spanning ten departments and supervising more than 100 employees.

Quality control and community outreach have been the cornerstone of Robertson’s career in both hospitality and community relations.  He is actively involved in numerous organizations that promote and encourage career growth in business enterprises and the mentoring of minority youths.  In addition to serving on numerous community boards and commissions, he was named one of: Fifty Leaders of Tomorrow” by Ebony magazine.

Mr. Robertson graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, La, and has also received management certificates from Mountain State Management Development, Dale Carnegie Management School and the American Hotel and Motel Association.
