Summer Youth Leadership Camp
Every summer Young Adults for Positive Action runs a month-long summer camp geared towards building young leaders in the community, encouraging healthy living, and bringing excitement to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning. YAPA's Summer Youth Leadership Camp is designed to cater to creative thinking through arts, drama, and writing and expand youth's mind to receive leadership skills, communication assets, and ambition to succeed in life.
2014 Summer Youth Leadership
Last year, from June 9th - June 27th, YAPA had over 60 students attend the Summer Youth Leadership Camp. Each day students were provided with diverse actitivies related to STEM learning, including: Experimental Science, Technology, Young Designers, and Creative Math. Each Friday students were able to get out and enjoy a field trip. The students took trips to the Denver's Museum of Nature and Science, Tagawa Gardens, and the Butterfly Pavilion.

The 2015 Summer Youth Leadership Camp was from June 8th- June 26th at 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM. Activities included STEM learning, including: Experimental Science, Technology, Young Designers, and Creative Math, physical outdoor activities, indoor activities & games, One Imagination STEAM Leadership Program, tutoring services, and field trips to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Fiske Planetarium, and the Denver Art Museum. Students were also able to participate in:

- Math Tutoring
- "Power of Words" Writing Course
- Study Skills
- Breakfast AND Lunch
- One Imagination STEAM Leadership Student Showcase
